New Nike World Cup Advertising Posters

For this weeks advert I have chosen the new Nike sportswear adverts which coincide with the start of the FIFA World Cup. Not the best print campaign ever, but a fresh idea which has been well executed and has some nice copy, too. Its just a shame that on the Rooney version, Rio Ferdinand and Theo Walcott are the other two England players in the advert!!

UK Carbon Emissions Set to Fall Again in 2010

The UK’s carbon emissions are set to fall again slightly in 2010 after the recession drove dramatic declines of around 10 per cent last year, analysts said yesterday. But the country is likely to miss its targets for cutting emissions and boosting renewable energy by the end of the decade unless the new coalition government urgently puts ambitious low-carbon policies in place.

The World’s Biggest Plane, the Antonov 225, Comes to Doncaster Robin Hood Airport

Just last week The Yorkshire Wildlife Park, which is just down the road from us in Branton, flew 13 lions in to the airport from Romania.
